Welcome to Whigville Lake Cottage Rental. Nestled among the beautiful rolling hills, horse farms, lakes, and scenic roads of Dryden Township in Southern Lapeer County.
Offering weekly and weekend rentals from June through Labor Day Weekend you're sure to have a relaxing and fun time at the lake. Whigville Lake has a lot to offer a family or person who is looking to get away for a weekend or for a whole week.
Whigville Lake Rental is a quaint little cottage, built in 1938, with three (3) bedrooms, a living room, a full kitchen, a full bath w/standup shower (all linens, towels, tableware, bakeware is supplied), and an enclosed front porch. It also features an outside deck with a gas barbecue, outside chairs, and a fire pit.
Whigville Lake offers good fishing (bass, perch, pike, etc.), plenty of turtles, beautiful swans, deer, and other wildlife. The lake is 65 acres of pure fun. Swimming is only a few feet away from the deck, and a sandy beach is located next to the property and is safe for all children and adults.
A 16-foot aluminum fishing boat is available for rent, or renters may bring their own boat or Jet Ski to enjoy on the lake and park next to the dock in front of the cottage. We also have, for rent, two flat bottom Kayaks on site. Come and see a little piece of heaven only minutes from your back door.
